A New Twist on an Old Idea
Acupuncture treats healing as an art, which is what sets it apart from other healing methods. It is able to accompany western medicine beautifully, and can be an awesome addition to many other healing styles. Seven Star Acupuncture takes the time to listen to you and treats your whole health history, not just your temporary situation. This allows clients to partner with their acupuncturist in a wellness plan, which brings about greater results. Although acupuncture is presently considered an alternative treatment, it is a 2000 year old art that will ultimately support a treatment method that brings back empowerment to the patient…the next wave in healthcare.

Acupuncture is not just a means of treating people and their illnesses; it is also a way of promoting health and wellness. Acupuncture addresses the way that energy flows through the body, as Qi (pronounced ‘chee’), and corrects any energy that may not be flowing properly. Because this is an alternative method of medicine in the United States, and deals with energy flow, it is important that the practitioner’s energy flow is healthy as well. In essence, all acupuncturists can place needles in the same place, but the effects will vary depending on the Qi of the practitioner. This illustrates the difference between Eastern and Western medicine and gives insight as to the importance of lifestyle and background of the acupuncturist. Seven Star Acupuncture’s interest in acupuncture stems from a desire to heal as well as promote health as a lifestyle.
